Review of Hellvape Helheim S RDTA

One of the main reasons why many smokers switched to the lighter side of vapor is the taste. It is thanks to vaping that many have been able to taste not only tobacco (at best with a hint of cherry or coffee), but also exotic fruits, baked goods, drinks and even cucumber. But in order to maximize the flavor of the liquid, you can’t do without a good atomizer. Traditionally, the best way to unlock the taste is to use a drip, which has a significant drawback – they need to be constantly refilled. RDTA or tank drip tips were developed in order to make the drip more capacious. The company Hellvape is known for vape players for its legendary Dead Rabbit series of drips, but RDTA was not yet in its assortment. But as they say, the place is not empty, and the company presented Hellvape Helheim S RDTA.

General Info

Hellvape Helheim S RDTA is a tank drip tip designed for installation of one coil, with bottom and side blowing, large volume of liquid tank from which it goes to the shaft with the help of steel cables. The tank looks quite impressive, with Scandinavian style decor, but it is very neat and will look logically on almost any box mod. The device is designed for installation of one coil, a fat one, which will be blown from the bottom and the side, providing a good flavor transfer. For the liquid supply to the coil steel cables are used, not new, but original and practical. You can buy Hellvape Helheim S RDTA in five colors: blue, black, gold, gunmetal and steel.

Kit

The new tank drip tip is very well-stocked, but Hellvape has always been famous for trying to put everything a vaper needs in the box for trouble-free use of the device. In the box the vaper waits:

Helheim S RDTA Atomizer;

Replacement glass;

Two steel cables;

Screwdriver;

Coil Cutting Tool for trimming coil stems;

Prewound coil Ni80 0.37 Ohm

Cotton;

Spare screws;

Replacement O-rings;

User’s Manual.

Appearance and design

In the world of vaping, there are devices that have already become legendary. Among them are Fuchai 213, RX200, Zeus X, Kennedy, as well as one of the first top-flush Hellvape Dead Rabbit vaporizers. The Dead Rabbit brought success to the company, and all editions of this atomizer are in great demand among the connoisseurs of delicious vapor. The company’s range includes both drips and tanks, but there were no tank drip tips, so the appearance of Hellvape Helheim S RDTA was expected and logical, and created this device together with the company FIVE from Germany, so it has a lot of chips.

The design of Hellvape Helheim S RDTA is quite interesting due to the design features, the device looks massive, but unobtrusive and beautiful at the same time. On the top of the tank there is an engraving with the name of the device, as well as numerous small notches designed for easy adjustment of blowing. The diameter of the device is 25 mm, so it will look logically on almost any box mod.

The 5 ml glass is protected by a metal frame, and the amount of liquid in the tank is clearly visible. The drip tank uses a traditional 810’s derrinless drip-tip, which can be replaced if desired.

Case, airflow and usage features

The developers of Hellvape Helheim S RDTA decided to make this model a single-helix model, so the base of the device is made rackless. The coil is installed vertically, and its legs are fixed with two slotted screws. It is interesting that there are four holes to install the coil, so you can install the coil wound in any direction. The holes for the legs and the space under the dome are enough for you to safely put one fat coil.

There are small wells for laying the wool, but the wool is not lowered into the bulb. Its ends are placed at the bottom of the well, where they contact the ends of the steel cables that are inside the tank. Due to this design, the wool is constantly wetted, preventing the appearance of carbon monoxide. The design is not new, but quite interesting and effective.

But the interesting points do not end only in the presence of cables. The developers also took care of the blowing of the dome of the Hellvape Helheim S RDTA has two adjustment rings. One ring at the base allows you to set the bottom blowing, with the air flow going directly under the coil. The second ring is for adjusting the side blow, aimed at the sides of the coil. The vaper can set both blows separately or at the same time.

To fill up the Hellvape Helheim S RDTA the vaper needs to remove the dome and pour 5 ml of liquid into one of the two holes in the base.

Conclusions and impressions

Hellvape Helheim S RDTA evokes dual feelings, as on the one hand the device is quite interesting and practical, but on the other hand a similar design has been used more than once by other manufacturers. But every vaper who decides to buy Hellvape Helheim S RDTA will get comfortable and easy to use atomizer, with three options of blowing and good flavor delivery.
