Review of Aspire Nautilus XS Tank

Review of Aspire Nautilus XS Tank

Despite the fact that more and more vapers are switching to POD systems, the popularity of traditional tanks and drip tips is hard to shake. However, not all vapers are ready to spend time installing spirals and laying vapor on their own, preferring tanks that work on interchangeable vaporizers. This is not surprising, as you can not only save time, but also guaranteed to get good flavor delivery. Many vapers know the Nautilus and Nautilus X tanks from Aspire, which have been successfully sold all over the world for more than a year. The developers of the company decided to continue this series and presented Aspire Nautilus XS Tank, which although a bit similar to the previous models, but has a number of design features that make it original, easy to use and practical.

General Information

Aspire Nautilus XS Tank is a compact tankomizer, with a rather small tank volume, designed to use Nautilus X series vaporizers and allows you to use loose and tight puffs. The design of the new tank is very laconic and simple at first glance, but if you look closely, you can find several original design solutions that make it original. Depending on the vaper’s preferences, it is possible to use both Nautilus XS and Nautilus X series vaporizers, and the process of changing the vaporizer is very simple and convenient. The Aspire Nautilus XS Tank is available in four colors black, steel, gun metal and champagne.

Accessories

You should not expect a miracle from an unserviceable tank, but the manufacturer tried to do everything to make sure that the vaper received the most practical and easy-to-use atomizer. That’s why the vaper will find it in the branded box:

Nautilus XS Tank atomizer (2 ml);

Nautilus XS Vaporizer 0.7″ Omega; Mesh Coil;

Nautilus X 1.8 “Omega vaporizer; U-Tech coil;

Spare orings;

Warranty card;

User’s Manual.

Appearance and design

Aspire has been pleasing vapers with its atomizers for many years, and the company pays special attention to tanks designed to work with interchangeable vaporizers. Aspire Nautilus XS Tank is a continuation of already known to vapers series Nautilus, but with certain improvements and interesting design solutions.

The tank is quite small, made in a diameter of 22 mm, so it can be successfully used in stealth bindings. The design of the tank is very simple, there are no decorative elements on it, thanks to which it will appeal to many vapers. It is worth saying that the top lid is made in the form of several rings, it is not accidental, as it acts as a radiator so that in the process of operation vaper did not burn his lips on the metal.

A very positive point is that the manufacturer has provided Aspire Nautilus XS Tank with a branded drip tip, made in 510 format, so if desired, the vaper can change it for any other from his collection.

The standard glass capacity of the Aspire Nautilus XS Tank is 2 ml, which is very small for most vapers. In order not to upset vapers, the manufacturer has provided an option to install an extended glass with a volume of 4 ml, and to install it you need to buy an additional extension adapter for the vaporizer. The solution is simple but effective.

Vaporizers, blowing and peculiarities of use

Aspire developers made sure that the vaper had no problems with vaporizers, so they provided compatibility of Nautilus XS with vaporizers of Nautilus X series. And the vaper is offered three new vaporizer options – Nautilus X U-Tech coil 1.5 and 1.8 ohm, designed for tight cigarette puffing, and Nautilus XS Mesh Coil with 0.7 ohm resistance for free DTL puffing. The vaper chooses not only the resistance of the vaporizer, but also the type of puff. It is worth saying that when using Nautilus X U-Tech coil you can use both organic and salt nicotine liquids.

One of the features of Aspire Nautilus XS Tank is the upper air intake, realized by means of two rather large holes in the lid, thanks to which the airflow gets to the vaporizer twisted, and this positively affects the flavor transfer.

Refilling the tank is a bit outdated in some ways, as you have to completely remove the top cap of the atomizer in order to pour liquid in. But there is a significant plus of not having to figure out something to get into the small holes, as access is completely open to the entire tank.

Conclusions and impressions

On the one hand, Aspire Nautilus XS Tank is a fairly standard tank, but on the other hand, the developers have worked to make their tank different from its analogs, not only in design, but also in functionality. Naturally, the atomizer has certain claims related to operation, but the possibility of compact size, the ability to increase the volume and top blowing will make the tank in demand among vapers.
