Review of DF D200 by Digiflavor

It’s been a while since I’ve seen anything from Digiflavor and today I’m going to delight you with their new boxmod called DF D200, which is quite different from its predecessors DF200 and DF60.

The design of the boxmod is strongly reminiscent of the RX200, as the triangular arrangement of the batteries is optimal to achieve good ergonomics of the boxmod. Digiflavor did not invent a bicycle and simply copied, like many other manufacturers, the Wismec chip. The appearance of the device is very nice, but I can’t get over the fact that from the front side I see exactly the RX 200. If I were Digiflavor, I would at least change the placement of the controls. If you look at the DF D200 from other sides, you will see nothing in common with the Rx200. The dimensions of the boxmod are almost the same as the Rx200 and are 88x52x42 mm. Any atomizers up to 25 mm in diameter can be used more or less comfortably on it.

The technical specifications of the boxmod at the moment are slightly contradictory and are both superior to some of the competitors and worse than them. online vape shop australia For example, the minimum supported resistance of the atomizer is 0.08 ohm, against the standard 0.1 ohm, and the minimum supported resistance for thermocontrol is the same 0.08 ohm, against the standard 0.05 ohm. But since the DF D200 is equipped with Evolv’s DNA200 board, and I will remind you that at the moment “mdash; it is the best board on the market, there is no point in arguing and comparing it with others, DNA will win. The maximum power of the board is an honest 200 W. Temperature control is available on Ni/Ti/SS/TCR. Without a firmware update, of course, did not do without, and you can download the software on the Evolv website.

As I said above, the boxmod is powered by three 18650 batteries arranged in a triangle. The lid is secured with magnets and contains a perforated strip for venting, which adds a bit of style and uniqueness to the boxmod. The atomizers are mounted on a steel connector pad, the diameter of which the manufacturer did not inform, but I assume that its diameter will be about 25 mm. If you are going to use atomizers wider, then be prepared that you will scratch the body around the connector. The material of the center contact of the connector is also not known, but most likely it is brass, or brass with gold plating.

At the moment there are an unrealistically large number of boxmods with DNA200 board, so to compete Digiflavor must have a boxmod of the highest quality. I’m sure they can do it, as it’s very rare to notice any faults.
