Review of eVic VTC mini 60W by Joyetech

Today we are going to talk about the eVic” VTC mini 60W from Joyetech. This model is extremely interesting due to its modest size, and at the same time very serious functionality.””  So, let’s begin!

Packaging and kit

The device comes in a cardboard box with very good printing. On the front side of the box there is a picture of Joyetech eVic-VTS with eGo One Mega installed on it. e-liquids in australia On the back side of the box there is a delivery kit (about it a little later), product description, notes about the color of the kit and other information in the form of certification marks.

On the side edges of the box are the manufacturer’s name, website, model name and possible colors – black/white/ turquoise.

In the package you will find: eVic-VTS battery pack, eGo One Mega atomizer, replacement vaporizer for the atomizer, USB cable, manual (in Russian) and warranty card with a verification code.

eGo One Mega atomizer

The eGo One Mega atomizer is supplied with Joyetech eVic-VTS Mini and does not shine with outstanding characteristics of flavor or vapor, but it allows the user to try temperature control right out of the box.

Joyetech eVic-VTS battery pack. Appearance

Abrasion resistance is above average, but the coating has already started to chip at the corners.

Coil heating starts immediately when you press the “Fire” button, in TC mode the vapor is even (before firmware 1.10, when using Ti coils, you could feel the impulsiveness of vaporization, but at the moment everything works perfectly). In the mechmod mode (Bypass) I didn’t use this device almost at all, but I liked the real-time voltage display (you can see how much your battery “sags” under load).

Pressing a combination of keys allows you to realize some additional functions:

When the battery pack is on:

Simultaneously pressing the left and right keys – key lock;

Pressing the left and Fire keys simultaneously – stealth mode on/off;

When the battery pack is off:

Pressing “Fire” 20 times shows the installed firmware;

Simultaneous pressing the left and right buttons – flip the screen;

Pressing the left and “Fire” keys simultaneously – battery charge level in volts.

Impressions and conclusions

Joyetech eVic-VTS Mini has been with me for about two weeks. The battery pack did not show any serious flaws. The temperature control works just fine (even in Ti mode, after changing the firmware to 1.10). Changing the firmware does not cause any difficulties.

Pros:

Appearance;

TC operation;

Ability to work with several materials;

Bundling;

Replaceable battery;

Ability to change firmware.

Minuses:

In the copy it does not ask if the vaporizer is new at resistance 0.1Ohm;

When installing an atomizer with a lower resistance, even with a fixed value resets to a lower resistance (cooled coil) and fixes it already.
