General Info and Design

The functionality of this mod, as for a single-tank mod, is pretty good and can easily compete in the market of similar devices. But it does not have any features at all, which does not go to its credit.
On the front panel are the Fire button, +, – and USB port with a charging current of 1.5A. On the side is the usual 0.96 inch LED display.
As I wrote above, the device runs on a single battery 18650, access to which is located at the bottom of the device, under the hinged lid on the latch.
The connector pad has a diameter of 24 mm, but by the looks of it you can fit 25 mm atomizers here, and maybe even 26 mm. The 510 connector is gold plated and spring loaded.

At first glance, we face the usual unserviced with a minimum of functionality, but this will not be completely true. Despite the quite ordinary appearance, the atomizer still earned a few points in the set.
First of all, it has a perfectly convenient refilling system with a retractable tank lid and a huge refill port. The only thing it lacks is a small tub around the filling hole, so that for sure not a single drop would spill out.
The volume is not big, only 2 ml, but it can be increased with bubble glass up to 4 ml. And the vaporizers are not particularly voracious, and coupled with a convenient refill you will be more than autonomous.
Mesh vaporizers are of course good, but the guys from OBS went further and added compatibility with Draco Coil vaporizers and SMOK V8 Baby coils. For such technical solution the guys from OBS deserve a special respect, as SMOK vaporizers are sold in almost every tents. And what about the complete unserviced vaporizer
0.2ohm M1 Mesh Coil is designed for 80W maximum wattage, but recommended to use it in 65 to 75W range. The 0.15ohm M3 Mesh Coil is rated at 50 to 70W, but is recommended at 55 to 65W. Since both vaporizers are mesh vaporizers, you can always use compatible vaporizers from other manufacturers, and if you don’t like it, you can always use them.
The airflow is lower and regulated by turning the adjustment ring, notches were not noticed, which is not very good. The connector is 510 and the pin is gold plated.

“All in all quite a good set, it’s just a pity that the Cube X MOD can’t boast of technical refinements, but in contrast it has terrific ergonomics and appearance.
On the contrary, Cube X Tank atomizer can not boast of flawless appearance, but its technical characteristics make up for the simplicity of design. What the convenience of refilling and compatibility with vaporizers from other manufacturers is worth of nothing! But the most important thing is that both devices overlap each other’s disadvantages and perfectly match each other.
